Embark on a five-day journey through Singapore’s history and identity.
Through multifaceted, multidisciplinary and multimodal experiences, your child will gain crucial skills in investigation, communication, and self-awareness. Expect research, creative projects, movement and meaningful conversations. Each day balances focused learning with moments to play, connect, and reflect.

Highlight 1: Hooked on History
History is more than a dry collection of things that happened long ago. History is hidden in the walls of our homes; the journeys of our families; the voices of our parents and grandparents. It’s the universe of stories that make up who we are today.
Embark on a puzzle-piecing journey to uncover the stories that make up who we are. Through the five days, participants will discover more about the many factors that make them who they are today, including their social, societal, cultural, and linguistic environment.
Participants will:
Explore various primary and secondary sources, including maps, interviews, and centuries-old written accounts
Discuss and debate various perspectives and conflicting accounts
Conduct research on culture, the international landscape, and the economy
Creatively present their findings in multimodal forms
Highlight 2: Love for Language
Students are often forced to read dry texts in order to answer a wall of questions. But reading is about far more than schoolwork: used artistically, language is about sparking empathy, igniting imagination, impacting through inspiration, and rallying others around a brilliant idea.
Using the book “The River That Brings Us Life” by Sarah Ang, language will be explored through visual art, theatre, creative writing, verbal discussion and debate, and public speaking.
Over the five days, participants will:
Explore history, current affairs, and environmental awareness
Reimagine the book through creative writing and dramatic retelling
Collaboratively create artistic pieces that express the spirit of the book
Debate conflicting perspectives
Be introduced to the art of public speaking and scriptwriting
