Xianying: "An environment where the kids felt comfortable, happy, and free"
My 4-year-old boy enjoying water play with a new friend! ☺️ He had such a wonderful time with Teacher Karen and the other children during his trial session. I stayed for the initial consultation and observation, and it was lovely to see how naturally the kids bonded and played together.
The other child's parents actually took the opportunity to enjoy a K-BBQ date while their daughter was there, and that really made me realise the value of a quality childminding service. As parents, it's not always easy to find time for errands, appointments, or even a simple date with our spouse.
Of course, trust is the most important factor when it comes to leaving our children in someone else's care. That's why I felt reassured knowing that Teacher Karen is an experienced preschool educator who is genuinely passionate about nurturing, engaging, and connecting with children. Her warm and caring approach created an environment where the kids felt comfortable, happy, and free to explore, play, and make new friends.
Seeing my son come home smiling and excitedly talking about his day was probably the best endorsement of all. ❤️ -
Kgoon Liang: “Warm, welcoming and safe"
Lovely place! The moment you step in you can just feel how warm, welcoming and safe it is. There are a wide variety of materials and toys that don't just keep a child occupied, but are great in supporting a child's development. My kids were engaged throughout, able to switch between activities freely, and enjoyed themselves!

MJ: "A cozy, safe space"
I love how she converts her home into a cozy, safe space for kids. She also structured the space such that kids are open to switch from pretend play to drawing to card games very fluidly, all within their own control.
Do consider going for this instead of an indoor playground. It encourages children's own exploration without overstimulation.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Karen!
I’m an educator who has decided to step out of the academic space, and into a child’s holistic development.
When I was teaching primary school students full-time almost a decade ago, I heard children talking about things that made me deeply disturbed and troubled. It made me think: How can I play a role that nurtures a child’s life beyond their grades? That helps them not just become top scorers, but wise, intelligent individuals?
While undergoing my postgraduate diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, I found my calling in a more holistic approach to development. Now, it is my mission to protect children’s joy and safety—the foundation that helps them become effective learners.
Kallos Club is my endeavour to integrate joy and play with child development. In an ever-changing digital landscape, where learning traits such as adaptability, creativity and critical thinking matter more than rote learning, I aim to set children up for future success by going beyond academcis to nurture their entire being.
